Fan Blade Analysis

Through Reverse Engineering final project for the Fundamentals of Engineering Design
 101, a freshman course, Polillio conducted intensive research on fan blades with little
 aid. Designing different fan blades to optimize the airflow for a Clip-on Fan, 12 different
 blade designs were analyzed without constructing physical prototypes. Polillio used
 Computational Fluid Dynamics to perform the analysis on the fan blade computational
 models using Creo Parametric 9.0 Flow Analysis. Polillio was a freshman, having joined 
NJIT in Fall 2023. After a rigorous learning curve, he analyzed the models successfully. 
Blade tilt angle and the number of blades were the two primary variables used in the 
computational optimization.
